Description and objective: After attending this course, you will be able to moderate formal usability tests (such as those defined in the ANSI CIF) and informal usability tests (such as accompanied browsing).
You will learn how to:
* Moderate a usability test.
* Apply some of the questioning and probing techniques used by good moderators.
* Overcome obstacles to observation.
* Understand the differences between moderating formal ("summative") and informal ("formative") usability tests.
* Moderate usability tests with difficult participants.
