Description and objective: This two day IOSH accredited course has been developed to provide delegates with a practicable introduction to environmental management. It will enable delegates with no, or basic environmental experience, to identify and understand applicable environmental legislation and practicable measures to ensure compliance. Delegates will be able to develop environmental management practices to meet the demands of customers, for example environmental policies, strategies and action plans. Knowledge gained on the course will enable delegates to undertake environmental risk assessments and for developing an environmental management system.
