Description and objective: With the demand to provide a more flexible and adaptable workforce there is a need to increase an individual or workforce’s skill. This intensive course is the first of three mechanical to electrical modules and is accredited by City & Guilds. Each module is designed as a stand-alone qualification or combined to achieve the full C&G 1518 qualification. It has been awarded a Level 3 status and can be used to provide underpinning knowledge for those wishing to embark on an NVQ programme of study. Suitability: It is designed as a practical ‘hands on’ approach to meet the need to train new employees or those wishing to improve their skill base.
