CONTRACT WORKS INSURANCE - INTERMEDIATE

Description and objective: Delegates will be able to demonstrate an understanding of:
- Contract Works insurance and the ways insurers provide cover
- the insurance clauses within the JCT contract
- the difference between contractual obligations and insurance requirements
- why non-negligence liability (Clause 21.2.1) cover may be required and how Insurers meet the need
- the structure/content of Contract Works Insurance policies and the optional extras usually available
- the underwriting process and the information insurers require to assess/price risks
Suitability: The workshop provides a structured overview of the subject which will act as either a learning opportunity for those less experienced or a refresher for the more experienced.
