Description and objective: Regardless of whether people are near the top of an organisation or in the most junior of roles, they generally want to know how their bosses think they are performing. If they are doing well, they want that fact confirmed. They want to feel their efforts are valued, and they want to hear the news from their managers. And, although it may hurt their pride, they also need to know for the sake of their own futures, where and how they need to improve their performances.
