Description and objective: Too often appraisals become an adversarial meeting where the manager has difficulty getting their point across successfully and the appraisee becomes defensive and closed to change. As a result managers learn to loathe them and employees fear them. This course will give you a number of approaches and a wealth of techniques and tactics to ensure that the appraisals that you conduct are structured, productive and positive. Suitability: Essential for line or senior managers and team leaders struggling to obtain positive outcomes from appraisals. Also useful for HR managers, to improve their company’s appraisals.
