Description and objective: Aims:
This module aims to provide Supervisors with an understanding of communicating from an organisational and individual skills basis and give them a chance to practice influencing and assertive behaviour.
Objectives:
At the end of the course delegates will be able to:
Identify the barriers to communication in their organisation.
Identify barriers in their own personal communication.
Identify key communication skills.
Practice listening skills.
Produce a features and benefits analysis.
Determine their ability to influence.
Present ideas persuasively in order to influence all staff.
Upgrading personal presentations.
Managing conflict in a one to one and in a group situation.
Write better letters, memos and reports.
