Description and objective: One of the main hazards of working in a laboratory is handling glassware. This event will :-

· reduce risk of injury/incident while handling glassware
· reduce/eliminate cost of replacing/repairing broken glassware
· make people aware how to store, carry, clean and handle glass safely
· understand the effects of heating and cooling glass, including temperature limitations
· Understand the correct way to cut glass rod and tubing

* In support of the training, clients may purchase a copy of the video “The Good Glass Handling Guide”
